Painting, like drawing, has been a life long passion for Wilson. His early memories of painting with his mom and siblings in his childhood home instilled within him an early love of painting. In high school his theatre teacher, Eric St.John, introduced him to scenic painting, at which point Wilson began to take painting more seriously. He then pursued a major in art at The University of Montevallo, where continues to hone his skills.
