Little Shop of Horrors!
Wilson couldn't imagine a better way he could've finished out his college career than with by working as scenic charge artist and assistant scenic designer for The University of Montevallo's production of Little Shop of Horrors! in the blackbox! Getting to work underneath a professional scenic designer, and alongside a talented creative team, Wilson got the opportunity to learn more about his craft alongside this group of outstanding artists!

Scenic Design Requirements
When asked by Adam (head designer) to make a list of all the ways the script discusses the scenic elements, Wilson knew exactly what to do! To the left we have an example of Wilson's "Scenic Design Requirements Sheet." If given time Wilson tries to make these sheets for any show he designs for, as they are a great tool for both communication and organization!

Wilson believes that it's important to be aware of the ways in which the set is spoken of in the script, he doesn't believe in "marrying himself" to stage directions. This list is a great way to figure out which directions are important to the director and creative team, and which ones may not be what we're looking for.
